Coral Garden - Loon, Bohol
This is what CORAL GARDEN looks like. The plants are not plastic, not fake, they grew naturally. You can also see real corals during lowtide and it has white sand. No entrance fee, just bring your camera and enjoy taking videos and pictures. Leave your footprints in the area but never your trash. The locals named the plants as "AMBILANG" but we have yet to confirm the exact name. Location: Tangnan, Loon, Bohol FOR MORE INFO about this place: The coastal area has been declared by DENR as a geological monument which was uplifted after a magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit the province in October 2013 by virtue of DENR Administrative Order (DAO) No. 2015-08. The area was uplifted for 1.2 meters and covers 1.37 square kilometres of coastline and it stretched for 8 kilometers within the towns of Loon and Maribojoc. (Source: www.denr.gov.ph) *** Videos and pictures were taken on April 14, 2018 between 4 to 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Music: Joakim Karud - Dizzy

Turks and Caicos Coral Gardens Resort Review and Toscana the Abonconed Resort
We stayed at the Coral Gardens March 2015. Awesome trip! Water is gorgeous, reef is fantastic. There is a half-built resort next door, but it did not bother me any. Coral Gardens has ocean front rooms and is right by Bight Reef. You can swim out 10 feet and see tons of see life. There are rays, sea turtles, and tons of fish everywhere. The Toscana is now gone, and they are building a new resort, but it was cool seeing the shell of what was going to be a hotel. I guess they ran out of money and had government problems. Many investors lost their money. investfourmore.com

Coral garden restoration in the Seychelles
This month has seen the beginning of an exciting coral garden restoration program at Constance Lémuria. This exciting project has been made possible thanks to funding from the Government of Seychelles, United Nations Development Program and Global Environmental Fund through their Small Grants for Environmental NGO-Tourism Operator Partnership Program, to which we are very grateful.

Diving in Bali (720p)
Scuba diving in Bali. This DVD is available at http://www.bubblevision.com/marine-life-DVD.htm Diving in Bali is a document of an extraordinary expedition I made to Indonesia's magical island of Bali in 2006 with Aquamarine Diving, http://www.aquamarinediving.com From Tulamben's awesome USAT Liberty wreck, to the reef manta rays of Nusa Penida, via the fascinating macro marine life of Tulamben and Seraya Secrets, the footage covers the breadth of Bali's fascinating underwater world. The video features 158 species of marine life, and their common and scientific names are available by turning on the captions with the CC button under the video. Viewers can now contribute subtitles for the marine life names in this video in many languages. Find out more at https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6054623. From Tulamben there is footage of the wreck of the USAT Liberty in both day time and night time, including the humphead parrotfish that spend the night there. Also from Tulamben are numerous marine live encounters from dives at the Drop-Off and the Coral Garden. Just around the corner we make a dive at Seraya Secrets, a macro hotspot where I encountered seahorses and nudibranchs. From Padangbai on the east coast of Bali we have footage from The Blue Lagoon and Pura Jepun. From the island of Nusa Penida we have the manta ray cleaning station, Manta Point, and Ped. Full list of dive sites featured in this video: 1. USAT Liberty Shipwreck, Tulamben The USAT Liberty was torpedoed by the Japanese off Lombok and beached at Tulamben in Bali. In 1963 the last eruption of Mount Agung caused the wreck to slide deeper into the sea where she lies today. The USAT Liberty shipwreck makes an excellent dive site. This video features the towering stern, the coral-encrusted gun on the bow, green humphead parrotfish (Bolbometopon muricatum), a Pacific hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata bissa), garden eels, sweetlips and lots of other interesting marine life from the wreck and its surroundings. The USAT Liberty also makes a fantastic night dive. Green humphead parrotfish sleep in the protection of the wreck. Other highlights include a Spanish dancer and a bluespotted ribbontail ray. 2. Coral Garden, Tulamben The Coral Garden at Tulamben lies conveniently right off the middle of the beach. Skunk cleaner shrimps tend to moray eels and groupers at a cleaning station based around a barrel sponge. Also featuring a ribbon eel, ghost pipefish, leaf scorpionfish and trevallies schooling in the shallows. 3. Tulamben Drop-Off Video from the Drop-Off at Tulamben, Bali, featuring a spectacular giant purple knotted sea fan, nudibranchs, a ghost pipefish and a seahorse. Before and after exploring the Drop-Off we spend time in the shallows where we meet Tulamben's famous schools of trevallies. By night the drop-off at Tulamben provides plenty of treats for the visiting diver. This video includes a squat lobster, a cone shell, a dwarf cuttlefish, a hermit crab and various pretty reef fish. 4. Seraya Secrets Seraya Secrets, nearby to Tulamben, is an exellent muck dive known for weird and wonderful critters. Here we encounter some batfish around the artificial reef project in the shallows. A little deeper we find 2 thorny seahorses, catfish, an anemone crab and nudibranchs. 5. Blue Lagoon, Padangbai The Padangbai area on the east coast of Bali provides some fantastic diving. Just north of Padangbai lies the Blue Lagoon. This footage comes from my first ever dive in Indonesia with a video camera and features leaf scorpionfish, cuttelfish, anemonefish, lionfish, shrimps, catfish, nudibranchs, moorish idols and a goby. 6. Pura Jepun, Padangbai Pura Jepun also lies just north of Padangbai and is home to some fantastic marine life. This video features clownish, sweetlips, angelfish, a peacock mantis shrimp, a stingray, a panther grouper, a wart slug, ribbon eels, a scorpionfish and a flying gurnard. 7. Manta Point, Nusa Penida On the north-east side of Nusa Penida lies a cleaning station for reef manta rays (Manta alfredi) known as "Manta Point". On 23rd May 2006 we had the pleasure of diving with these graceful giants. 8. PED, Nusa Penida Ped is sloping reef on the north coast of Nusa Penida. Here we encounter a variety of tropical reef fishes including angelfish, triggerfish, anemonefish and scorpionfish, as well as a rhizostome jellyfish. Thanks to Toao (http://www.soilsound.com) for the music tracks, "Deep Blue", "Starbeam", "Afterglow", "Time & Space" and "Woodsman", and to Erik Verkoyen for "Prickly Shark". Fantastic Coral Gardens of Apo Island, Philippines
Apo Island is an amazing Island. Stunning Visibility and breathtaking soft and hard coral gardens. We only did three dives on this dive safari with Fun and Sun, but I can't wait to go back. Oh and we got to have an amazing experience with dolphins during a surface interval (check out my other videos if you want to see that). Highlights: Great visibility with jaw dropping soft and hard corals on all our dives, a number of beautiful Green Sea Turtles, and some large, and very friendly Sea Snakes.

VLOG #4 ►If you're new to my channel, don't forget to subscribe.◄ "The Coral Garden of Loon, Bohol is considered as nature’s gift after the earthquake that hit Bohol. It looks like a magical haven for every eye to enjoy. This long stretch of Red Corals is peacefully located in Brgy. Tangnan, Loon, Bohol, and it’s now considered as the rising tourist destination in Loon, Bohol. This Coral Garden has caught the attention of many locals and even travellers from nearby towns and even outside Bohol. When you come close to this coral garden, they actually look like a ground-creeping plant with succulent leaves, which has a thick, heavy leaves or stems that has the ability to store water. They are more likely looks like a lush growth of reddish-orange plants that are believed to belong in the family of Aizoaceae. This long stretch of reddish-orange plant, which are peacefully and freely sprouting in the coastal area of Brgy. NO MUSIC VERSION @ https://youtu.be/wJIbhSYteK0 | Watch via On-Demand: https://naturerelaxation.vhx.tv/new-releases-from-david-huting/videos/rainbow-reef-relaxation-3-hours-hd-nature-relaxation-w-music | DOWNLOAD/DVD: https://www.naturerelaxation.com/products/rainbow-reef-relaxation-3-hr-dynamic-underwater-film-w-music-hd | ABOUT THIS FILM: From the cinematographer: "The footage for this film was shot over a period of some years in French Polynesia, Micronesia, Indonesia and East Timor. Unfortunately there are not that vibrant anymore today. Coral reefs have suffered from the rise of water temperature, rise in acidity, destructive fishing methods and severe storms caused by climate change." - Peter Schneider. "Rainbow Reef Relaxation" is a 3-hour long, sweeping yet majestic & vibrant underwater journey to the world's most beautiful lagoons, as captured by Nature Relaxation collaborator Peter Schneider (Underwatercam) paired with ambient underwater sounds and brand new ambient music by the Cynic Project. Filmed in High Definition several years ago, thanks to its age this film offers magical glimpses of an underwater world that is bursting with life, color, and beauty. Unfortunately, reefs today in most of the world are suffering from severe bleaching and so with this film we hope to raise awareness by showcasing the divine beauty that only pristine underwater reefs can present, in hopes that it will motivate the viewer to take action and help save them before its too late! (https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2018/01/coral-bleaching-reefs-climate-change-el-nino-environment/) More from Peter S: "We all know that nowadays! This gives us the privilege and also duty to change and rethink our role in nature. What we also know today is that everything is connected and we are all a part of Nature, yes we are nature. So we don’t have to save the world, but recognize it as family. What we do to the world, the world will give it back to us. Equally the good and the bad things, that is law. The good news in it is, ...it is all up to you and me and everyone. You matter, I matter because we are all belonging to the same family. Now take a deep breath and join us for a dive beneath the waves." If You Ever See This on the Beach, Cry for Help!
How do you recognize something that you can touch and something you have to run away from as fast as possible? Here is a list of the most dangerous sea creatures you can meet and how to recognize them! There are so many different species living in the ocean! Some of them are beautiful, some are deadly, and some are both. TIMESTAMPS Fire Coral 0:40 Flower Urchin 1:20 Cone Snail 1:50 Portuguese Man-of-War 2:32 Snea snakes 3:54 Lionfish 4:51 Chironex 5:39 Surgeonfish 6:15 Indonesian needlefish 6:59 Triggerfish 7:34 SUMMARY - Fire Coral. These small organisms can sting, and the effect can be not very serious and it can be quite bad. A stung person may have severe pains, feel nauseated and even vomit, which is not the best thing to do when you are underwater. - Flower Urchin is both very beautiful and very deadly. It contains toxins that can cause anaphylactic shock, convulsions and finally death. You can get poisoned if you step on it when you are in the sea or the ocean. - Scientists say that just one drop of the cone snail’s poison is enough to kill 20 people! Just one drop! - The most mind-blowing fact about Man-of-War is that technically we should call it Men-of-War, and refer to it not as «it», but «they», and here is why: it’s an animal that is made up of a colony of organisms cooperating together. Man-of-war has tentacles that can be 30 feet long, which it uses to paralyze and kill fish and other small creatures. - Sea snakes are much more venomous than their land-living friends. As it turns out, they have to be like that because they hunt fish, so what they need to do is immobilize their prey very quickly not to let it escape. - Many people call the lionfish the most beautiful sea creature in the world. You can find them in the Caribbean and Eastern Atlantic. Lionfishes are not deadly — they do have a venom, but it’s not lethal. However, the pain you will experience if you get stung is so severe that people say you might wish you were dead. - Chironex doesn’t have any teeth, but it’s dangerous as hell. If a person gets stung, they will have excruciating pain, red inflammation in the stung area and heart dysfunction. - Surgeonfish are easily spooked, so you should be extra careful if you see one of them. Don’t make any unexpected fast moves. The good news is, surgeonfish are not aggressive unless, of course, you provoke them. - Indonesian needlefish live in tropical and subtropical waters of the oceans. They, as the name suggests, have a very sharp, needle-like beak, and they are especially dangerous when they hurl themselves out of the water. - Triggerfish is mostly friendly, but only until you are a threat to its nest. The most dangerous are females — if you approach its nest even accidentally, it will bite you. Thankfully, the bites aren’t poisonous, but triggerfish have extremely sharp teeth, so the injuries it can cause need serious medical attention. Sur Ridge Sponge and Coral Gardens
Deep below the ocean's surface underwater mountains are home to spectacular sponge and coral gardens. These corals and sponges create complex, three-dimensional structures that provide habitat for many other animals such as crabs, snailfish, and blob sculpins. Sur Ridge, 35 kilometers off the Big Sur coast and 800 meters below the sea surface, was first explored by MBARI and Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary researchers in December 2013. Since that time, the research team, led by MBARI Senior Scientist Jim Barry, has returned to Sur Ridge five times, conducting a total of 29 ROV dives in the area. As with all MBARI ROV dives, high-definition video was recorded. After the dives, this video was painstakingly analyzed by Linda Kuhnz, a marine biologist in MBARI’s video lab. As a result, a new field guide was created, identifying more than 260 different species of animals, many of them beautiful and strange. On some slopes of Sur Ridge, fluorescent yellow Picasso sponges cling to the rocky seafloor, growing to half a meter tall. Elsewhere the tree-like branches of bright-pink bubblegum corals extend more than two meters above the ocean bottom.
