How to enable idle_time parameter for user profiles on Oracle
Typically, malicious users target the inactive sessions to gain access into the database. By reducing the period of time an inactive session stays connected, the probability of that session being a victim of abuse is reduced. Also, setting up idle_time helps to reduce problems of having too many INACTIVE sessions.

How to disconnect all connections on sql server database |kill all connections |disconnect all users
use master ALTER DATABASE YourDatabase SET SINGLE_USER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE --do you stuff here ALTER DATABASE YourDatabase SET MULTI_USER This video is about killing or disconnect all connections to a database. The easiest way is bringing the database to single user mode and set it back to multiuser mode. This will disconnect all connections form all the users other than current one who is logged to the database. One important aspect here is, do not close the screen once you set the database to single user mode. Because when a database is in single user mode it will allow only a single connection to the database. If you allow dropping your connection and if any other connects to the database you will not be able to connect the database again. So you may have to Stop the SQL server and start again to connect the database. It is also possible to do this using SQL management studio. Right click on the database, go to properties, go to options and move to restrict access option. There you can select the single user mode or multiple user mode. Now The question is why do you need to do this. I mean when, do you want to kill all connections. It is mainly, when you want to have exclusive access to the database. For example a database is not allowing you to restore a backup on this because you cannot grant the exclusive access, then you can bring the database to single user mode; killing all connections; perform your activates and after that set it to the multi user mode. This way you can maintain the exclusive access while you are completing the work.

JSF 2.2 Deep Dive
JSF 2.2, which marks the latest evolution of this popular framework, ships with Java EE 7. This release includes a few major new features, plus several other enhancements and bug fixes. It’s easier than ever, with HTML5-friendly markup. Faces flows enable you to package up navigation, pages, and code into easy-to-manage modules. Enhanced cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection makes your applications more secure, and there is also a standard file upload component. Resource library contracts enable you to swap sets of templates, images, stylesheets, and JavaScript files across your application, simplifying customization for different clients or deployments. This tutorial digs deep into details about how to use these and other new features. Author: Kito Mann Kito D. NDSS 2018 TLS-N: Non-repudiation over TLS Enabling Ubiquitous Content Signing
NDSS 2018 Session 9: Blockchain and Smart Contracts 04 TLS-N: Non-repudiation over TLS Enablign Ubiquitous Content Signing SUMMARY An internet user wanting to share observed content is typically restricted to primitive techniques such as screenshots, web caches or share button-like solutions. These acclaimed proofs, however, are either trivial to falsify or require trust in centralized entities (e.g., search engine caches). This motivates the need for a seamless and standardized internet-wide non-repudiation mechanism, allowing users to share data from news sources, social websites or financial data feeds in a provably secure manner. Additionally, blockchain oracles that enable data-rich smart contracts typically rely on a trusted third party (e.g., TLSNotary or Intel SGX). A decentralized method to transfer webbased content into a permissionless blockchain without additional trusted third party would allow for smart contract applications to flourish. In this work, we present TLS-N, the first TLS extension that provides secure non-repudiation and solves both of the mentioned challenges. TLS-N generates non-interactive proofs about the content of a TLS session that can be efficiently verified by third parties and blockchain based smart contracts. As such, TLS-N increases the accountability for content provided on the web and enables a practical and decentralized blockchain oracle for web content. TLS-N is compatible with TLS 1.3 and adds a minor overhead to a typical TLS session. When a proof is generated, parts of the TLS session (e.g., passwords, cookies) can be hidden for privacy reasons, while the remaining content can be verified. Great Plains Dynamics old versions recovery and installation on Pervasive SQL Btrieve
Here we are guiding you on GP old database and client workstation mounting on new Windows computer First of all we should mention that old releases may be not compatible with 64 bit computing. In our opinion the best OS is Windows XP 32 bit or Windows 7 32 bit (7 minght be not compatible with some add-ons, XP is bulletproof) In optimal situation you have GP Daabase (System and company folders under Dynamics folder) as well as client workstation where you need to edit Dynamics.set and Dex.ini files In the case when you need data export you do it in Pervasive Control Center. DDF (Data Definition) files required: file.ddf, field.ddf and index.ddf (optional - it increases performance) If you do not remember old user logins and passwords, replace SY01400 user master and SY60100 user access to companies table. Also you may need to replace SY02400 system password file. These files you can take from default installation with TWO and Lessonuser1/2 users which have access to lesson company by default The easies way to install XP is via virtual machine. There is Hyper V option, where support for XP is restricted, for example you have access to CD/DVD/Blu Ray drives but it might be difficult to enable network adapter or get access to hosting hard drive via Enhanced Session. You can try replace Network adapter with legacy network adapter. We figured out that Oracle Vitrual CD is free at this time and by default provides driver for network ethernet card, so you can copy data from your server. When you are done with mounting on Virtual Box machine, you can copy virtual drive from Oracle VDI virtual hard drive file to VHD in Oracle VB File - Virtual Media Manager: Copy - Hard disk file type switch to VHD (Virtual Hard Disk). VHD file you can mount on Hyper V virtual machine on Windows 8/10 or server 2012 or newer Narrator is Andrew Karasev, you may contact Andrew 331-330-6879 [email protected]

RDMA SELinux Support
In this video from the 2016 OpenFabrics Workshop, Daniel Jurgens from Mellanox presents: RDMA SELinux Support. "SELinux is enforces Mandatory Access Control in Linux. SELinux restrictions are encoded into a security policy. It restricts users and processes to only the resources they need to perform their work, and cannot be overridden by system users regardless of their privileges. SELinux today covers standard TCP/IP networking, controlling which traffic flows and network interfaces a given process is allowed to access. This session explores how SELinux may be extended to support RDMA, which often bypasses the only source of trust – the Linux kernel – while sending and receiving traffic. We map SELinux mechanisms to the RDMA communication model, and show how concrete isolation guarantees can be established by the administrator by associating InfiniBand Partitions with SELinux security tags, and controlling SMI access permissions. All relevant RDMA user-kernel interfaces are protected by suitable SELinux hooks. Finally, we provide guidelines for managing SELinux RDMA policies. We detail recommended host security policies for both compute and SM hosts, and discuss deployment considerations." Login and Registration System using MEAN Stack and Passport.JS Part - 3 | Node.JS Authentication
In today's video we are going to create a complete project of registration and login system in MEAN Stack (mongoDB, express, angular, nodejs) with passportjs from scratch. Excited! Yes from scratch, I will show you how to setup your workflow and build the complete system. With this video you will be able to establish a authentication system in your MEAN Stack app with the help of Passport.JS, if you haven't heard of Passport.JS then it is the right time. Passport.JS is one of the most famous middleware for authentcation of Node.JS apps, with more than 500 different strategies for authentication it is one of the most famous middleware you will find on npm. Implementing authentication can be tricky and Passport.JS even very amazing is fairly complex. Hence, I brought you this video to provide you a step by step tutorial on how to write the whole application and will explain you what each magical line of code does. We will be looking on some great features and functionalities of Angular 5 and Node.JS while development of this app. We will start with development of registration system then we will move to user login section. Here we will authenticate the user and then create a proper persistent session in MongoDB using Passport.JS and Express-Session. Then finally we will be building a user home page which will be a protected page. And we will grant the access to this page only to our valuable users who have logged in into our applicaiton. Here I'll show how to verify if a session exist or not and how to enable restricted access along with getting current logged in user details. The most amazing thing about this tutorial is that we are going to build this complete authentication procedure on cross-origin. As lots of issues happen when making CORS request and I'll tell you all the minute details where your applicaiton can show unexpected issues. Which otherwise may take hours to notice and fix. I have created this tutorial with lot of efforts and dedication. So if you guys like my work please dont forget to share and subscribe to my channel.
