Because after spending years building muscle naturally I've learned that there are certain useless exercises that you should avoid entirely other exercises that you might want to consider incorporating and then there are the exercises that you just cant go without. Exercises that by themselves have the power to transform your physique. I've narrowed this list down to just seven of the most important exercises that you absolutely should have as a staple part of your routine to efficiently build the most muscle in the shortest amount of time. By mastering these 7 key compound exercises you'll see incredible results even if you're not doing any other exercises in the gym. And I made this video specifically for men not because women can't benefit from these exercises as well but because the ideal attractive body type for men is a V shape whereas for women it's more of an hourglass figure. So even though a lot of the exercises do crossover for both men women this video is specifically to help you develop the best manly physique with the least amount of exercises possible. I'm going to list off these exercises in no particular order, so Let's start first with a very important upper body exercise the bent over barbell Row. With this exercise you'll be working the rhomboids which are the muscles that connect your shoulder blades together so your upper back muscles and you'll also be working the back of your shoulder and your biceps. This is one of the most important pulling movements that you can do. Because you're working multiple muscle groups responsible for Pulling you're able to lift a lot more weight with this compound exercise then if you were to isolate any one of these muscles individually. By strengthening your rhomboids and your posterior deltoid you'll be tightening up your upper back which will help you hold yourself straight up and maintain a better more attractive upright posture. Since you can lift heavy weight with this exercise your biceps are also going to get a lot of stimulation because you'll be lifting a weight that would be impossible to lift with an isolated movement like bicep curls. A basic bent over row is done by grabbing a barbell with your hands a little wider than shoulder-width apart. Stick your butt out and stick your chest out before beginning the movement. Then bend down by about 60 degrees so you're a little higher than being fully parallel to the ground and you want let the weight hang straight down, do not flex your shoulders. While keeping your chest out pull the barbell inward towards your stomach and aim to touch your belly button with the bar. Then bring it back down to that hanging position and repeat this motion for reps. The great thing about rows is that you can do it with a barbell or you can do it with dumbbells, but a general rule of thumb to remember is that you'll be able to lift more weight and typically you'll be able to build more mass with barbells over dumbbells. Also by changing the angles at which you bend during a bent over row you can Target different parts of your back. A fully bent-over position where you're at a 90 degree angle will Target more of your lats and the middle of your back whereas standing more upright will Target more of your traps and upper back. Let's move on to another staple exercise that you should be doing, barbell and dumbbell chest presses. While the rows will help you develop the posterior or the back part of your upper body the chest presses are there to help you develop the anterior or the front part of your upper body. It'll hit your chest, the front head of your shoulders as well as your triceps. With chest presses you want to spend the majority of your time doing them at two different angles flat and incline. If your weakness is your upper chest you want to spend more of your time doing incline presses. if your upper chest is fine but you lack lower chest development you want to spend more of your time doing flat movements. There are a lot of exercises out there that are plain bad for you & they only continue to exist just because they've been passed down from one misinformed gym to the next, & noones been smart enough to realize that these common exercises are no good. So today we're going over 10 exercises that all men should avoid & these exercises aren't only exclusive to men. Women should avoid these exercises as well it's just that in this video we'll be sticking to exercises that i usually find men doing wrong. The very first one that I want to start with is actually a group of exercises that guys are drawn to like moths to a flame. I'm talking about all the selectorizor ab machines at your local gym. The machines that you usually start by sitting down pulling out the pin, selecting your weight, then grabing some handles behind your head & doing crunches. These machines are not only a waste of time but they are also dangerous for your lower back. All these selectorizor ab machines are locked into a range of motion, meaning that your joints & your disks can't travel down their natural path, you can only travel down the path that the machine has set for you. Even if you adjust the machine to your body perfectly, which by the way is very hard to do, but even if you somehow had a machine customized for your body you can still easily run into lower back issues because you're still locked in a set range of motion throughout the entire exercise. Besides a greater potential for a lower back injury you will also get significantly less results from these machines than if you stuck to regular ab exercises like crunches, hanging knee tucks, & declined situps. The reason is once again due to the fact that your locked into a range of motion. The core's main responsibility is stabilization. And it's important to improve your functional core strength because your core isn't only responsible for stabilizing your trunk but it stabilizes your whole body. It is the bridge that connects your lower body to your upper body. When you're locked in a range of motion you take all of the stabilization normally required for ab exercises out of the movement. The really ironic part is that those abdominal stabilizer muscles that you're not working on these machines are very important to strengthen in order to prevent the lower back injury that you'll likely experience on one of these machines. Due to the fact that you're not working your stabilizers you're missing out on all of those deep tissue abdominal muscles like your transverse abdominus & your only targeting mostly your rectus abdominus which is the very outer layer six pack looking muscle. The transverse abdominus is very important to work because not only does it help prevent injury, but it also pulls your stomach in keeping everything nice & tight giving you that flat stomach look. If you want to make your ab exercises tougher use weights by simply holding a dumbbell or a plate either behind your head or accross your chest while doing regular traditional ab exercises. Once again if you don't know where to start start with exercises like stability ball crunches, declined situps, & hanging knee tucks. The next exercise you should avoid is the behind the head shoulder press. First off there is absolutely no advantage to going behind your head. None. Even though I'm sure some old school guys will be disagreeing with me in the comments below you can research this yourself & you'll find that when you go behind the head you're still targeting the same muscles that you would if you went in front of your head & there's no advantage when going behind your head that will allow you to build your shoulder muscle faster.

There's a certain look that we can define as more of an attribute of a masculine looking body just like there are certain looks and traits that we can define for a feminine looking body. With women one of the most attractive shapes to men is the Hourglass shape. And thats According to a study conducted by dr. Dixon from Victoria University, he said that men rated images with an hourglass shape and a small waist as most attractive. The other way aroynd with women rating men it appears a strong muscular upper body in the shape of a v seems to be more attractive. This is according to a new study from Griffith University in Queensland. Now before I get into these exercises that will help you build a more attractive body as a man I'd like to issue a disclaimer because this is not one of those channels where I'm going to tell you that by getting a six pack you're going to have girls flocking all over you that's just not how it works. Please understand that to be an attractive man you can't just rely on how you look. But we all know that first impressions can definitely help so let's start with the very first exercise that you should be doing and that's the lat pulldown. Why am I big fan of the lat pulldown well because part of getting that V shape is to have a wider upper body then your waist. A huge portion of your width stems from your back. The lat pulldown is an excellent exercise to work your lats your back the back of your shoulders and your biceps. Make sure when you're doing the lat pulldown for width you go wider with your grip on the bar. Also make sure that when you come down you flare your elbows out that'll put more pressure on the lats and move you towards that v-shape appearance. The next exercise you want to make sure you're doing as a guy are squats. Part of having an aesthetic looking figure is maintaining proper proportions. If you have a huge upper body even if it's in the shape of a v but your lower body makes you look like you're about to topple over it's not going to look very good at all. On top of that squats are going to work your whole body especially your core in a way that most exercises can't. It helps you train your transverse abdominis which is the Deep layer abdominal muscle fiber that helps pull your stomach in and gives you that flat stomach look. It's also no secret that girls just like guys prefer fuller butts rather than flatter butts. So when you do your squats make sure you go nice and low and you sit back in order to really incorporate your glutes and thighs into the movement. The next exercise you want to make sure you're doing for building an ideal male physique is some form of bench pressing dumbell pressing or pushing movement. The reason why I say bench pressing or pushing movement is because it's very hard to work your chest muscles effectively any other way. The chest is a lagging muscle group for many guys and unfortunately most functional exercises fail to incorporate horizontal abduction. Which is when you bring your hands together from far away like a chest fly. Horizontal abduction is required to build up your chest and once again you want to maintain portions you don't want to have huge arms and a tiny chest. Make sure at least once a week you're dedicating sometime to getting some pressing movements into your routine. The good news is that while you're doing the presses you'll not only be working your chest but you also be working your shoulders and your triceps as well. Shoulders especially the middle head of your shoulder is another muscle that's important for giving you that wider upper body appearance. That's why you want to make sure that you incorporate the fourth exercise which is overhead presses whether it be military presses or dumbbell presses they're going to help grow your shoulders giving you that wider V tappered appearance. A lot of people do make mistakes of not going low enough when they do a military shoulder press that I want to make sure you guys watching this video don't make so you can have the maximum results for your shoulders. When you come down for a military press or a dumbbell press you don't want to stop at eye level or your level you want to come down under your chin. If you're only going to eye level or ear level you're working a lot more triceps rather than the shoulders that you're intending to work.

The best clothing colors for most men are neutral colors. If you throw in a couple more versatile colors, such as olive and light blue, you’ve got a complete wardrobe. Here’s the best part: if you like other, less standard colors, they will also work with this palette. For example, if you love wearing burgundy or look great in yellow, both of those colors work well on top of a neutral wardrobe. You don’t have to add extra colors, but it’s very easy to do so. Here are some of the benefits of neutral colors: #1: All Your Clothes Look Good Together With a neutral wardrobe, putting together an outfit or packing for a trip is a breeze. You can almost get dressed in the dark because everything goes together. #2: You Can Always Add Color (But you Can’t Remove It) If you want to be more colorful, you can always add splashes of color to a neutral wardrobe. But if all your clothes are bright and colorful, it’s impossible to remove that color for a more subdued look. #3: Easy to Control Your Contrast As a shorter man, I prefer low contrast outfits. They're going to tell you that your thyroid is going to be destroyed. They're going to tell you that your hormones are going to be completely out of whack, and that you're never going to recover. Well, it's not quite the truth. In this video, I want to give you the A to Z breakdown of what happens to the female body during a fast, during intermittent fasting in particular. How often should a women fast? What can they expect? What's happening with their hormones and what's happening with their reproductive system? In this video, I'm going to take you through A to Z what goes on, starting with the starvation and the hunger hormones, leading into your reproductive hormones, then leading into your thyroid. Let's dive right in, and men, this video's for you, too, because it's going to help describe exactly what's going on in your body, as well. Okay, here's the thing. When it comes down to starvation hormones ... we're talking leptin, ghrelin, insulin, things like that that we have to be paying attention to when it comes down to hunger and satiation ... women are much more sensitive to them. It's nothing bad, nothing wrong with them. It's simply a protective mechanism. It's not the fact that the thyroid's shutting down. It's the fact that the female body is recognizing that there's no food coming in, so they don't want to be producing eggs. They don't want to be ovulating. It's natural. Why would a female body want to produce eggs to stimulate potential reproduction if they're not eating, if they're starving? That's where this whole thing starts. It all has to do with leptin, ghrelin, and insulin. But it goes much more than that. We're going to talk about what's happening with the brain and with the gonads now. Let's talk about GNRH. GNRH is a particular thing that is secreted by the hypothalamus in both males and females, and it has to do with what's called the hypothalamic-pituitary gonadal axis. I know lots of guys that are proud of the HPTA, thinking that it only has to do with testosterone and their male bodies. Oh, no. That's not the case. The HPTA axis, that entire process, is men and women. And here's how it works. Your brain has an area called the hypothalamus. This hypothalamus ends up secreting something known as GNRH. This GNRH tells the pituitary gland to produce luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone. What these hormones end up doing is triggering the production of sperm and testosterone in men and producing ovulation and triggering progesterone and estrogen in women. They both do the same thing, just with a different end result. We still have the same catalyst, the same hormones. Now what ends up happening is how women go through this process compared to men. Now that we know GNRH and we understand the HPTA has to do with men and women, we can talk about the precursor to the GNRH, which is where the problem really starts, and that's something known as kisspeptin. Where the problem occurs with kisspeptin is just with people not knowing what's really going on. Most of the beef in the fasting community and most of the beef with women fasting in general all has to do with kisspeptin. . So with these 10 dress shirts, you'll basically be equipped for all classic men's style outfits yet you really cover just the basics so you don't spend more money than you ultimately have to. Basically, there are always three main considerations; one is the color shirt, then the type of fabric, as well as the shirt details. 1. Plain white solid dress shirt in a plain weave. I suggest to go with a medium spread collar as well as barrel cuffs because it allows you to wear it in more formal and less formal settings but it's something you can pair with jeans or denim, as well as with a very formal business suit. 2. Fancy weave white dress shirt with double cuffs or French cuffs. I'm wearing one like that right now. It has a subtle waffle pattern weave which makes it slightly different than a plain weave in the sense that if you look at it very closely and the light shines in a certain direction, you can see it has a pattern, however, from a few feet away or a few meters away, you think it's a solid shirt with a nice depth of color. 3. Light blue dress shirt. It should be made of a medium fabric, ideally, plain weave. Again, barrel cuffs, no pocket and French placket. 4. Light blue shirt but now, make sure that the color shade is slightly different than the one you had previously. You can go darker, you can go lighter, just make sure it's different. Also, for the fabric itself, I suggest you get maybe something in a twill weave because it's a new small weave pattern that you don't already have and it's a very classic thing, it is hard wearing and it's particularly good in a slightly heavier fabric maybe for winter because you want to have a variety of shirts in your wardrobe. 5. Ivory color It should be distinctly different from white if you hold them next to each other, however, it's so close to white on its own that most people would never realize you're not wearing a plain white dress shirt, however, plain white works really best with dark colors. It could be a dark green, dark blue, dark charcoal, or black, however, when you pair it with warmer colors such as brown, all of a sudden, the white just looks wrong. 6. Striped shirt with a white background in a blue stripe. The size of the blue stripe is up to you. I'd stay away from extremely fine ones or extreme bold ones, go with something in the middle down the line because that will work well with all kinds of solid suits. 7. Striped shirt but this time, I'd suggest you go with a light blue background and a white stripe. Ideally, the stripe should be different from what you already had so I'd suggest go more with a finer stripe rather than with a bolder stripe because you want it to be super versatile. 8. Checked shirt and can either be a light blue check on a white background or you can maybe go with a red and blue check on a white background. It just adds an additional color to your shirt wardrobe and red and blue are staples in a classic man's wardrobe so you'll always be able to wear it, it never looks out of place, it'll look good with a blazer. 9. Oxford cloth button-down shirt It's an American staple, it's a very hard-wearing cloth. I'll get it in a light blue color because the Oxford fabric has strands of different colors in white and blue so it gives a nice color effect. 10. Soft washed denim dress shirt 10-15 years ago, it wasn't really something that men would actually wear. In recent years, it has become so popular that men stock loads of them. The observations in this study are also consistent with other long term trends including a decrease in overall sperm quality. Now testosterone and estrogen are supposed to be maintained in the correct balance. But when estrogen levels rise, testosterone levels tend to drop, and same thing vice versa. Having lower testosterone and higher estrogen can lead to a loss of muscle mass, increased body fat especially around your belly and your chest, and it can also lead to hair loss, depression, and even sexual dysfunction. So since these are things that most men want to avoid I want to go over the 5 really bad habits that cause estrogen levels to rise and testosterone levels to drop in men. If you want to increase your testosterone levels naturally you're definitely going to want to follow along because towards the end I'll explain how eating what you might think is a healthy diet can actually be lowering your testosterone levels even if your diet is high in healthy fats. The good news is that these 5 habits that I want to go over today are all within your control. Meaning you can change them starting today just by making the decision to do so.
