These changes are preparing you for adulthood. Please watch: "How to grow taller ? Only Hang Exercise" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sGeR4ceB98 --~-- TUTORIAL : http://zainal5185.GT4IDIOTS.hop.clickbank.net?tid=yt Adolescence and puberty can be so confusing! Here’s some info on what to expect and when: Puberty in girls usually starts between the ages of 8 and 13 and ends by around 14. For boys, puberty usually starts between 10 and 14, and ends by around 15 or 16. For girls, one of the first signs of puberty usually is their breasts starting to grow. Getting your period (menstruation) usually happens later, around two years after breast growth starts. In between, you’ll probably start to see more hair in places like under your arms and in your pubic area. Puberty involves big changes to your shape, including getting taller (which stops when puberty ends). Of course, it can be hard to have your body change at a slower or faster rate than your friends’ bodies. If how fast or slow your body is changing is upsetting you, talk to an adult you trust. If you’re developing slower or faster than you think you should, your body may just be changing at its own natural rate. It’s a good idea to let your doctor know if you start puberty before age 8. Also let your doctor know if you don’t have any signs of puberty by the time you’re 14. Your doctor can check whether a medical problem is involved. Girls, see if this sounds familiar. You look in a mirror one morning and notice you're taller -- and rounder. Through your nightgown, you see your breasts are bigger. You don't remember looking like that a few weeks ago! Over the next few weeks, you start noticing hair in places you've never had hair before. You've heard girls at school talk about getting their periods, and you wonder if that will happen to you soon. You feel ultraconfident, and then super sensitive -- all in the same day. What in the world is going on? Welcome to puberty. Technically speaking, puberty is nature's way of transforming a child into an adult, all for the sake of reproduction. While both girls and boys go through puberty, girls reach puberty and sexual maturity at earlier ages than boys do. So what's causing all of these changes? Hormones! Actually, the female hormone estrogen is the main one that's triggering all the changes in your body. Let's look at some of the changes girls can expect at puberty. Increase in Height and Weight Starting at around age 9, girls begin to gain about 17% to 18% of their adult height. If someone has commented that you are "all hands and feet," it's true! Your limbs grow first, then your trunk. Most girls grow fastest about six months before they start their first period (menarche). You'll probably gain weight in puberty -- most girls do. You may notice more body fat along the upper arms, thighs, and upper back. Your hips will grow rounder and wider; your waist will become narrower. Your doctor will check your height and weight each year to make sure you are growing properly. If you are gaining weight too fast, you may need to increase your exercise and substitute fruits and vegetables for junk foods. Puberty Breast Development Breast development is an early sign of puberty in girls. This can happen before age 9 in some girls, but later in others. If you are self-conscious, you might want to start wearing a "training bra," which is a soft bra with no real support. Talk to your mom, older sister, or an aunt about buying a training bra. They can help you to make sure you get one that is comfortable and that lets you feel confident in your clothes. Ages & Stages of Puberty for Girls | Puberty

01:52
Watch more How to Survive Puberty videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/499539-Ages-and-Stages-of-Puberty-for-Girls-Puberty So, you're changing for gym class, and you notice that everyone around you is wearing training bras, but you're not and you're feeling kind of embarassed. Or, you go to a sleepover party and all the girls are talking about how relieved they are that they don't have pubic hair yet, but you've already started developing it and you're feeling embarassed, too. Puberty is a time of change. And a lot of stuff is going on in your body and it occurs at all different times for different people and it's all normal. I promise you something. Even if you start later or earlier, everyone is eventually going to catch up. So there's no need to feel embarassed or upset about what's going on. It's all a normal part of the process. Here's a look at what's going on during puberty if you're a girl. One of the first stages is that your breasts start to develop, and that occurs around the age of eight or ten. But, of course, it can occur earlier or later for some girls. The next thing that happens is you'll notice some pubic hair, and that's hair in your genital region that will start off sort of thin and soft at first and may get dark and curlier as you get older. The next thing is that you experience a growth spurt. And for girls, you may sprout up a few inches, you may gain a little weight, and you may notice that your body is becoming a bit curvier. All of this is normal. About two to two and a half years after your breasts start to develop you may get your first period. And that's when you start to bleed every month and that's a normal part of puberty also. Different changes that can occur after that are hair growth. You may notice the hair on your legs or your arms getting darker or thicker. Totally normal. Also, hair may start to grow underneath your armpits. This is normal, too. In addition, you might develop oily hair and a little bit of acne. That is a normal part of puberty, too. Just remember, we've all been through this, too. And you will make it through and become a happy and healthy woman.

Puberty - The First Kiss

Subscribe to Naked Science - http://goo.gl/wpc2Q1 Every other Wednesday we present a new video, so join us to see the truth laid bare... By the age of 11 childhood is nearly over and we’re about to change like never before, we’re on the brink of adulthood, but first comes the hormone surge of puberty. Puberty doesn’t follow a schedule, it can begin at any time, depending on our DNA clock, our lifestyle, even our diet. Whether female of male, it begins at the base of the brain in the hypothalamus, the same region that controls our body temperature. Puberty is the process of physical changes through which a child's body matures into an adult body capable of sexual reproduction to enable fertilisation. Puberty starts when the hypothalamus releases the protein Kisspeptin into the brain. The Kisspeptin triggers the release of other hormones throughout the body, this stimulates the sex organs to mature. Clip from the critically acclaimed documentary “The Living Body”. Puberty in Girls: Getting Your Period

02:27
During puberty, girls begin to get their menstrual periods. Menstrual periods are when a small amount of blood and tissue leave the body through the vagina over the course of a few days. It happens about once every month, and can last between a couple of days and a week. Some girls have cramps during their periods while others don’t. Using a maxi pad, tampon or feminine hygiene cup is a common way to manage the blood that leaves the body during a period. When a girl gets her first period it signals that her body has begun ovulating and that if she has unprotected sex, she could become pregnant. Why?! Once a month a hormone in the girl’s brain signals her ovaries to release an egg or ovum. This is called ovulation. The hormone estrogen is also released to signal the girl’s uterus to build up its lining in case the egg is fertilized by a sperm (called fertilization) during sex. If an egg is not fertilized within 12 -24 hour after ovulation, the egg dies and disintegrates. Two weeks later, when the uterus realizes there is no fertilized egg, the “extra” lining of the uterus is released or shed during a girl’s menstrual period. -------- Please like, share and subscribe to AMAZE for new videos every other Thursday! Ages & Stages of Puberty for Boys | Puberty

Watch more How to Survive Puberty videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/499548-Ages-and-Stages-of-Puberty-for-Boys-Puberty Are you noticing that your friend is as tall as LeBron James, but you're really short and only come up to his knees? Or possibly you're noticing all sorts of other things, like your friend has facial hair and you don't? Or you do, and he doesn't? All of these changes are normal. For boys, there are tons of stages and tons of ages that things can happen in, and they may occur at different orders. Not to worry. Let's break down what is going on for boys in puberty. One of the first stages is a change in your testicles. Those are the two balls in a sac that lie under your penis. The testicles start to grow, and the sac may change in color and start to get coarser in texture. This is totally normal. The second change is the development of pubic hair, and that's hair in your genital area. That usually occurs after the testicles start to grow. The next change is a growth spurt. The muscles start to develop. You start to get taller. Your shoulders broaden. This occurs at different paces and at different times for people, all normal. The next thing that occurs is that you may experience some voice changes - also normal. Acne. You may notice BO, and your penis may actually start to get larger and fuller. While all these changes may feel weird and a little strange, trust me. Everybody goes through it, and the take home message is, we all develop at our own pace, and it's all normal. If you have questions, you can definitely talk to your parents; talk to your dad, talk to an older sibling, a friend, someone you trust, even your doctor. Your doctor's heard everything, so no question is going to surprise him or her. And trust me, it's all normal and that's my take home message here, if you haven't gotten it already. And these are the stages and ages of puberty in boys.

What Types of Hair Develop on Girls? | Puberty

01:32
Watch more How to Survive Puberty videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/499536-What-Types-of-Hair-Develop-on-Girls-Puberty One of the first changes that you're going to experiencing after your breasts start to develop, is pubic hair development. Pubic hair starts to develop probably around the ages of 9, 10, 11, 12, all the way up to 16. And the hair grows in your genital area, it starts off as sort of thin and soft and light and then it starts to get darker and thicken up and curlier. It takes on sort of a triangular pattern and can even grow up your inner thigh and outer leg. This is all normal. After pubic hair starts to develop, you can get hair in other weird places also. Like under your arm you can get air, you can get hair on your upper lip, you can get the hair on your arms and legs start to darken and become thicker. Some women decide that they want to remove their hair, especially the hair on the upper lip or their hair underneath their arms or even the hair on your legs. This is an individual choice and totally up to you. There are tons of products on the market and I really recommend speaking to somebody that has done this before. Maybe an older sister, your mom, an older friend perhaps. Talk to someone who's done this, remove their hair before. There are waxes, there are bleaches, there's shaving. Just remember it's sort of a high maintenance game because once you start to shave or wax the hair is going to grow back. And sometimes it grows in thicker and stronger than before you just have to keep it up if you do decide to shave or remove the hair. All of this is normal, it's no reason to feel embarrassed. Everyone will go through puberty and experience hair growth. Not to worry, it's all normal and it's all going to be okay.

Obesity Could Lead to Earlier Puberty in Girls

01:01
UNDATED (WKRC) -- Girls continue to enter puberty earlier and the latest study suggests obesity may be a key trigger. Researchers looked at a specific stage of breast development as the start of puberty. The median age was 9.7 years old in white, non-Hispanic girls. That's four months earlier than a 1997 study that was the first to document early puberty. The new study found blacks continue to develop earlier than whites, reaching puberty at a median age of 8.8. The median is 9.3 for Hispanics and 9.7 for Asians. However, the median age for blacks has not changed since the 1997 study, while the medians for other races has changes. Lead author of the study Frank Biro is the director of adolescent medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He says the study finds BMI now supplants race as the number one factor in puberty. Now they want to find out why girls are more obese. Researchers are looking at chemicals in the environment, as well as diet and physical activity.
