Wow, what a sound. I'll have to try to combine something like this. Unfortunately, I'm at goldX not platinum so domt know if it'll sound as good.

ALLLLLMOST... Almost.. As good as me! Strings sound a bit too synthetic though but that's not your fault =/

Nope. Oppose me on Skype or do not bother making yourself look like a coward. Your choice. You do realize that, until you oppose me on Skype, ALL of your comments will NOT be read by me. I do NOT respect cowards. I certainly do not read the replies of them. Now stop being a pussie bitch and oppose me.
Simple Quirky Game Time (11 months ago)
I'll never feel intimidated by little people who cannot oppose me directly. Until you can do that. You're scum. Cowering behind a comment system. Typical American cowardice. Don't respond any more. You've just proven to me, even more so, what a coward you are. Open invitation to ALL reading this. I am hereby inviting this little punk to voice chat with me on Skype. Man to little bitch, him being the little bitch. I will record your humiliation and place it here on Youtube. You can either accept the chance to oppose me directly. Or you can remain under my boot indefinitely. If you do not accept it then everybody here will know what a sad little, cowardly bitch you truly are. Open challenge. Oppose me on Skype, in a call, or forever be my little bitch.

@Philip Bergwerf Nice work, was wondering what that thing is on your right hand? Broken bone or just something to keep your finger away? Ive broken my right little finger twice, and it doesnt really work well trying to play. :P

I have a problem. When ever I play through my midi keyboard, there is a substantial delay of sound rather then the Play engine being in sync with the notes I play on the keyboard. It really messes me up and I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone know what to do?
natoxbox360 (1 year ago)
MrUSA2025 honestly your PC is probably underpowered and cannot run the DAW efficiently, thus introduces input lag.
Gavin Oliver (1 year ago)
This is absolutely amazing. Im so proud that I also have an M-Audio keyboard, all be it an Axiom Air 61 along with the entire East West library. Just need more RAM to pull of this outstanding masterpiece. Zimmer out performed by Bergwerf. Id pay to see the standoff, Linz, Paris, Berlin & London would sell out. The Bergwerf challenge is to replay this track using only 4 finger on your right hand.

I listened to everything from beginning to end without rewinding ... You play the piano divinely))) A huge thanks to you listened with pleasure =)

Just came across this video, and have to say that this is absolutely incredible! I am just getting back into music composition/production again after being away for 15+y and it's really inspiring to see what one talented person can do with the right software. All live! For 10 minutes!
Trevor Jensen (2 years ago)
Sir, this is fantastic. As a composer with a very limited budget, I feel combining this with Sibelius will sound phenomenal. I truly hope to record with an actual orchestra, but that is HIGHLY expensive, so East West is certainly the way to go now.
jppineau (1 year ago)
In fact, the score for this particular movie was made with Project Sam libraries, which one can play almost live but it is a different vision of the orchestral libraries. Nothing against the EW stuff, I own them all and they are my go-to virtual instruments.
SkÿLantern (2 years ago)
too much reverb
jppineau (1 year ago)
EastWest Orchestral Libraries have multi position listener (microphone) positions and this affects heavily the sound and space of the orchestra.
Drgn8D (2 years ago)
While this is already impressive, I feel it's even more so because you have a cast on your finger o.o

Jasper (2 years ago)
Hi Philip good stuff !! , am actually learning to score Orchestral arrangements using VSTs from Garritan with Logic Pro, could you make a video where you mix the String Section with Brass Section ?`, with you playing it ? or do you already have videos already ? Thanks again :)

very nice! noob question: how do you get all the different patches to play off the same track?

It looks like there are ranges of instruments per keys within the KONTAKT instrument, which you can see in the top right of the screen.

Awesome! Wondering what type of midi controller you have there. I just got Composer Cloud this week. I have a large Technics digital piano in a corner of the room opposite my computer. Not sure that I want to move it near the computer - don't think the configuration will work. I  could run a very long midi to USB cable from the piano, but I don't think that will work well since I can't keep a eye on the computer and the digital piano at the same time. Thanks for any suggestions about a midi controller.
Walter The Musician (11 months ago)
Hi, You need to put the Keyboard next to the Computer screen close enough for you to read it. Probably most sequencers will allow you to use a note on your keyboard to trigger Record, and another to trigger Stop, Rewind etc, but it will be a major hassle for you not to be able to see the computer screen. A midi cable won't work far away (and you'll trip over it), and you need to be able to see your sequencer to select tracks, start recording, or editing, and to choose which instrument you want to play. There must be many Youtube videos on setting up a midi Keyboard to Computer and how to use virtual instruments. I have mine on a long fold out table. Anyway, good luck. I bet you'll have lots of fun.
Philip Bergwerf (3 years ago)
+Patti Hutterli Well if i where you i should use the digital piano because that are mostly better keys than my M-audio 88es. Maybe you can put your pc screen on the piano? I have always dreamt about a good midi-keyboard;-) But if you want to use it just for putting in notes in a sheet music program then it makes no sense en i think the M-audio id good enough for it.  I am using the M-audio for years but the volume curve of the keys is not perfect. Its difficult to play a soft volume on the keys so i have always to edit the volume of my midi recordings.

That's great - I'm into Celtic music and classic - 4 drum beats - violins, which Software is right to Use? - - Thanks for your awesome play! - Which midi device are U using?
Skyler Moosman (3 years ago)
+Joel C. I recommend East West Composer Cloud, its a recent thing available on April 23 to anyone who wants to sign up. You get all their gold stuff, I recently got it because I was eligible for early access and can say it has helped me immensely. For actual writing I prefer Logic Pro X and Cubase but use whatever works best for your workflow.

Wow! I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and my right hand index finger is pretty much fu..ed - playing classical guitar has become almost impossible, but playing any type of piano is more forgiving as you are proving here - it can be done! Well done for such a superb video my friend! And me too, I play by ear, I have had classical education, but once you know your instrument, you don't need sheet music :o)
